I realised that everything boils down to one thing, that is the word choice. Please bear with me. I feel like being philosophical today.
In every situation, we can choose to face things upfront or to run away. Towards a new environment, we can choose to look at things positively or be sucked down by our worries, fears and insecurities. To every question, you can choose the answer. Sometimes it's a yes, sometimes is a no, sometimes it's a wait or sometimes it is never meant to be answered by human understanding. But it is still a choice that we make be it in obedience to God or not. That's what drives me very much to seek the truth. As I venture and grow into "young adulthood", I realised that there are so many sides to an issue and yet there is no clear path on which is correct one. Sure, there are things that are surely right and wrong like stealing and murder is definately wrong. But other issues such as boy-girl relations and even the career choices we make in life are relative. Different individuals have different opinions. And there is no right and wrong. I don't feel like going further. I feel that at the end of the day, so much and too much thinking does not really add value to one's life. One must have his or her own conviction and walk closely to God.
So, I shall start my Uni life right. I shall start with the campus crusade camp 2 weeks from now then go for the hall camp instead of the business and accountancy camp. Firstly, spending $130 on camps is not very cheap. And I think I would be better expose to different people of different faculties in the hall camp. Furthermore, I would want another week of break rather than 3 weeks of camp. Need time to recuperate. I'm not that young and energetic anymore.. getting older.. ha ha :)
